After high school graduation I worked full time as a draftsman while attending art school in the evening. My goal to earn a BFA was interrupted by the Draft and two years in the US Army. Four months later a small pencil drawing of my combat boots got the attention of one of my company members, resulting in commissions for several large charcoals of the boots as well as portraits. Since then I have been a self employed artist. My drawings and paintings tend to be autobiographical, a mix of subjects and styles compared to my working-class roots of constantly adapting and changing life plans. I hope you enjoy viewing my work.
